Following the birth of her first son, Kim was motivated to provide women with options in childbirth and became passionate about making that possible. She received her training and certification as a birth doula. Wanting to further her education and training, Kim also certified as a Holistic Doula at The House of La Matrona. In addition to serving our community, Kim has donated her time and energy to Operation Special Delivery helping families serving in the armed forces. 

As a natural expansion of her services for women and families, Kim offers placenta services including tinctures, prints, and encapsulation. She has completed trainings in accordance with the OSHA Blood Borne Pathogens and Infection prevention for Placenta Encapsulators as well as the Basic Food Handlers course for the State of Louisiana in Contamination and Sanitation.
